Invitation for input: Looking to the future of multi-stakeholder collaboration in Cape Town’s Food System

INVITATION FOR INPUT

ICLEI Africa in partnership with the City of Cape Town, African Centre for Cities, South Africa Urban Food and Farming Trust and the wider AfriFOODlinks project would like to invite you to offer your inputs into how we respond to the changing needs of Cape Town’s food governance landscape.

Over the next three years AfriFOODlinks will be investing into a multifaceted series of convenings designed to support the diversity of food system collaborations already underway across the city, and bring in additional resourcing to further mobilise stakeholders across the city. This will include open public dialogues, curated invitational engagements, targeted policy-orientated mobilisations and deep-dive learning journeys.

The vision of this platform is to enhance synergies between urban planning, governance, and food-sensitive planning while also making food-systems governance and decision-making processes more inclusive.

We have a vision and plan, but before solidifying these we’d love to share them with you. We want to hear your inputs and understand where you might see you and your organisation fitting in.

This first session will be convened via Zoom and you can register using the link here.  Register now and join us in helping to shape the future of Cape Town's food system!
