As part of COP28, Peter Defranceschi, Head of ICLEI's Global CityFood Programme, will join the Expo City Farm to demonstrate the power of place-based strategies for food systems transformation. Building on ICLEI's longstanding experience in supporting cities transitioning towards sustainable urban food systems, Peter Defranceschi will provide concrete examples of how cities can foster sustainable food systems and bolster climate action, including through healthy school meals and food education.
